Product Features in Detail

Neutral Density Filter
As ND filters shorten the depth of field, they provide tremendous isolation to the subject up front. Likewise, this filter is used to soften the effects of sea waves and blowing grass to provide an ambient and time-lapse effect. ND filters can also be used to emphasize movement in a busy setting.

Graduated hard filters
Hard filters feature a clear division between the shaded part and the clear part. The solid gradients are best for settings with a defined horizons that clearly divide the sky from the sea or the land. The Neutral Density Soft Grad 0.3, the Neutral Density Soft Grad 0.6, and the Neutral Density Soft Grad 0.9 reduces exposure by 1, 2, and 3 stops respectively.

Compatible with the Lee and Serk 100mm Filter Holders
This holder attaches to an adapter ring that is compatible with the lens in use. Once the locking screws are planted to the adapter ring, you can then place this lens filter in any of the two available slots and slide it up or down to preference. The Lee and Serk 100mm Filter Holders can also be tilted or rotated to make the shade follow the natural distribution of light without disrupting the camera set-up.
