Having the same waterproof design to 33’ (10m), the Hero Session is still capable of covering 1080p60 video and 8MP photo in a light and simplified GoPro. Control your photo and video capture with just a touch of a button on top of the cam et voila, the cam automatically records images in an instant. It features 0.5 to 60 seconds time lapse intervals and burst photos up to 10 frames per second. The Protune delivers a minimally compressed yet optimized video for you to enjoy watching. The Intelligent battery maximizes battery life that it turns off when the camera is not in use. Its Auto Low Light mode however, adjusts automatically depending on the lighting condition, which enables you to get between dark and bright environments without adjusting the camera settings. The HiLight Tag enables you to locate your favourite part of the video where you can playback conveniently for sharing or editing. With a dual mic system located on the front and on the back of the camera, audio recording will never be a problem.

Intelligent battery usage
HERO Session maximizes battery life by only using power when the camera is recording. When you stop recording, it powers off. This means you can count on HERO Session to capture a full day of photos and video clips or record up to 2 hours continuously on a full charge.

Stunning video quality
High-resolution 1440p30, 1080p60, and 720p100 delivers sharp, professional video. Record at higher frame rates of 60 or 100 frames per second for unbelievably smooth slo-mo playback.

Powerful photo capture
Nail the shot with a variety of photo modes. Capture 8MP single photos, or set Time Lapse at intervals from 0.5 to 60 seconds. HERO Session can also be set to deliver a burst of photos up to 10 frames per second.

Dual mic system
HERO Session has one mic on the front of the camera and one on the back. They work together to automatically sense, then filter out wind and noise. You'll sense the difference too.
