EF 28-135mm f/3.5-5.6 IS USM is a standard zoom lens with three-stop Image Stabilizer and high 24mm focal length. With the Image Stabilizer turned on, sharpness and natural-looking pictures can be obtained in dim lighting without using any flash. The lens is very handy for places where flash is prohibited. Having an aperture of 28-135mm, it uses a ring-type ultrasonic motor for fast and quiet autofocus and full-time manual focus. Its closest focusing distance is 50cm. The super spectra coatings protect the lens in everyday use. It is compatible with APS-C and Full Frame Sensor DSLR Cameras.
Image Stabilizer
A three-stop Image Stabilizer enables hand-held shooting in low light conditions, even at the telephoto end of the zoom scale. Handy for taking pictures when the use of a flash or tripod is not allowed.
Ultrasonic focusing
A ring-type ultrasonic motor drives autofocus extremely quickly, and in near silence. Excellent holding torque ensures the point of focus is reached accurately, without overshooting. Furthermore, full-time manual override is available, making it possible to adjust focus without leaving AF mode.
Super Spectra coating
Super Spectra coatings ensure accurate colour balance and enhance contrast. They also reduce flare and ghosting – a common problem caused by light bouncing off a camera's sensor.
