The DJI RS 4 Gimbal Stabilizer is a sophisticated tool for filmmakers and content creators who seek smooth footage and advanced control over their cameras. Integrated OLED touchscreen allows for quick and easy adjustments of gimbal settings. Auto lock refers to the screen’s ability to lock itself to prevent accidental touches during operation. It offers the user the flexibility to control the gimbal's movement via the built-in joystick or remotely using a Bluetooth connection with a compatible device.

The gimbal features automated locking mechanisms on its axes for safer and easier balancing, setup, and storage. It works with a wireless image transmitter (sold separately) facilitating remote monitoring and gimbal control, very useful for complex shooting scenarios. The axes of the gimbal are coated with Teflon to ensure smoother movement and increased durability, resulting in better performance and longevity. A long battery life allows for extensive shooting sessions without the need for frequent recharges, ideal for professional use during long workdays or when shooting in locations with limited access to power.

DJI RS 4 introduces an RSA communication port, which allows for the connection of accessories such as the DJI RS Tethered Control Handle and third-party accessories. [3]

High-Capacity Battery Grip for Approx. 2.5x Battery Runtime [4]
The new BG70 High-Capacity Battery Grip [3] can extend RS 4's battery runtime to 29.5 hours. [5] It also supports powering camera and accessories with up to 18 W via the USB-C port.

Teflon™-Coated Axis Arms for Smoother Balancing
Reduced friction aids in smoother balancing and a fine-tuning knob on the tilt axis moves the camera forward and backward for precise, millimeter-level balancing.

In addition to a high-payload capacity, the tilt axis has been extended by 8.5 mm, allowing for mainstream mirrorless camera and lens combinations, and additional accessories.
