The six-element fully multi-coated lens system ensures high-quality images with enhanced sharpness and clarity. The eyepiece also features a rubber grip that offers a no-slip grip, even with gloves on. Additionally, the pop-up rubber eyeguards can be raised and lowered with a simple twist, offering both comfort and improved contrast.

The 12mm focal length of this eyepiece offers a high magnification that can be ideal for observing planets, viewing close-up details of lunar surfaces, double stars, and certain smaller deep-sky objects.
