Powered by a 10 TOPS visual computing module alongside an 8-core CPU + GPU computing system, the R1 delivers strong on-device AI performance for perception, decision-making, and real-time control. A humanoid binocular camera enables depth-aware vision, while integration with a large multimodal model allows advanced understanding of voice and visual inputs.

For natural interaction, the robot features a 4-microphone array for accurate voice capture and stereo dual speakers (3W × 2) for clear audio output. Its quick-replacement smart battery ensures minimal downtime during development and testing.

The R1’s motion system emphasizes agility and realism, with 3 shoulder joints, 2 elbow joints, 2 waist degrees of freedom, and 6 single-leg degrees of freedom, delivering smooth, expressive, and stable humanoid movement. Designed with a movement-first philosophy, the R1 excels in mobility while remaining capable of executing task-oriented behaviors.
