The Unitree Go2 EDU (Basic Version) is an advanced robotic quadruped platform built for education, research, and real-world robotics development. Designed with agility, intelligence, and expandability in mind, it delivers high-performance mobility combined with powerful onboard computing.

Powered by a 40 TOPS NVIDIA Jetson Orin NX 8GB (LF) module, the Go2 EDU provides ample processing capability for AI, computer vision, autonomous navigation, and robotics research. Its 4D LIDAR L1 Recognition System enables accurate environmental perception, obstacle detection, and intelligent movement in complex spaces.

With a maximum running speed of approximately 5 m/s and peak joint torque of about 45 N·m, the Go2 demonstrates impressive agility and strength for a robot of its class. The integrated ISS 2.0 (Intelligent Side-follow System) enhances interaction and autonomous following behavior, making it ideal for experimental and applied robotics scenarios.

Connectivity is robust with Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth, and 4G wireless support, allowing seamless remote control, data transmission, and cloud-based development. The robot offers a battery endurance of approximately 2 to 4 hours, depending on usage and workload, and weighs around 15 kg, balancing portability with stability.

Based on the technical innovation of lightweight quadrupeds, Unitree upgraded its technology to create a smart and improved walking partner. Go2 features Unitree's self-developed 4D LIDAR L1 with 360° x90° hemispherical ultra-wide recognition, super small blind spot and a minimum detection distance as low as 0.05m, enabling Go2 to recognise multiple terrains.


Intelligent side-by-side follow
By adopting the new wireless vector positioning and control technology, the positioning accuracy is technically upgraded by 50%. In open spaces with no shelter, the remote control distance can reach over 30m, and combined with the optimised obstacle avoidance strategy, it can make the robot better traverse complex terrain.
