For maximum freedom in post-production the built-in Canon Log Gamma delivers high quality images with up to 12 stops of Dynamic Range. Whereas, a Wide DR Gamma often achieves a wide dynamic range of 800% but does not require post-production processing, ideal for when a simple/quick workflow is required.

Record stunning high bit rate 4K movies to an internal CFast 2.0™ memory card and Full HD video or stills to a separate internal SD card. Capture low-noise footage in all kinds of challenging situations thanks to a high ISO of up to 20,000 that delivers enhanced sensitivity and excellent low light performance. A built-in ND filter further improves exposure control in bright light or when a wider aperture is required.

10x zoom with optical image stabilizer
The XC10 is fitted with a 10x optical zoom lens, optimised for 4K capture. The lens has separate manual control rings for focus and zoom selection and features a combined optical and electronic image stabilistation system for smooth, steady images when shooting handheld or on the move (electronic image stabilisation is not available in all shooting modes).

Compact, ergonomic design, including a loupe viewfinder
Compact and lightweight the ergonomically designed XC10 features a rotating hand grip and a large, vari angle LCD panel so you can easily shoot from a wide variety of angles. A high quality, capacitive, touch screen allows easy access and control of shooting modes and menus. For more comfortable eye-level shooting, or when shooting in bright light, an optical loupe viewfinder is included.

Slow and fast motion recording
Increase your creative options with high quality slow motion recording down to 1/4 speed (HD movies) or capture fast motion up to the highest speed of 1200x (up to 4K movies).
