An Optical Image Stabilizer minimizes the appearance of camera shake by up to five stops to enable handheld shooting at slower shutter speeds. The ring-type Ultrasonic Motor AF system provides fast, quiet autofocus performance that is ideal for both stills and video applications. A Focus Range Limiter switch enables you to limit the focus range between 5m and infinity or 5m to 10m, allowing you to further increase autofocus speed in certain situations.

Additional features include a customizable electronic focus ring, a rotating tripod collar, an integrated drop-in filter holder that accepts gelatin filters, and weather sealing for working in any condition.
