While this lens allows manual focus, it is also capable of efficient and quiet autofocus thanks to the combination of the Screw-type STM Motor and the Smooth Movie Servo AF. Sporting a 56mm equivalent focal length that works perfectly with the f/2.8 aperture, you can zoom in to tiny subjects due to its 0.03 metres minimum focusing distance. Amazing out of focus effects can also be achieved using the seven rounded aperture blades while images can be further enhanced by attaching accessories onto the 49mm filter diameter.
