Canon EF 28mm f/2.8 is a high quality, large aperture of 28mm focal length and wide 75° angle. It is a prime lens with a focusing distance of 0.25m in AFD system that eliminates distortion and aberrations for striking results perfect for casual snapshots as well as perspective shots. Floating rear focusing system corrects astigmatism and gives high contrast and sharp delineation. An f/2.8 maximum aperture allows hand-held shooting in low light. The lens embarks that provides fast autofocusing performance and is built with super spectra coatings having a compact and lightweight design.
Prime standard lens for APS-C sensor cameras
Weighing in at just 185g, this is a lens you can take wherever you go. On EOS DSLRs with APS-C sized sensors it makes a great standard lens, offering the same field of view as a 45mm lens on a full frame DSLR.
