The STORM 700x Tunable White LED Light arrives as Aputure's latest point-source LED, offering a tunable-white engine that provides high output in a more compact form factor. Aputure developed the STORM 700x upon similar characteristics of the STORM 1200x, XT52, and 400x—keeping the brand's proprietary and innovative BLAIR chipset. Meaning not only spectral quality, but superior accuracy in white light reproduction. It combines 700W with smooth dimming technology, multiple control methods, a convenient ProLock Bowens accessory mount, a smart cooling system, and finally, a robust IP65-rated construction for high-end set work under any circumstance. BLAIR Light Engine

With over 70% coverage of the Rec. 2020 color gamut, the STORM 700x is rated 95 for both CRI and TLCI standards. The light also scores an 87 SSI rating at both 3200 and 5600K color temperatures, as well as TM-30 ratings at Rf 95 and Rg 100, while its advanced five-diode architecture improves the light's color-matching abilities, resulting in a greater range of CCT than traditional bi-color fixtures.
