Canon G7X Mark III Price and Release Date
Canon has recently revealed the latest in their Power Shot G-Series point and shoot camera lineup, the G7X Mark III. A camera that is sure to satisfy all our Camera Warehouse fans in Australia who love creating vlogs and creative video content. If you want to know the Canon G7X Mark III price and release date, then read on to find out.
Announced alongside the G5X Mark II, the G7X Mark III features the latest 20-megapixel CMOS sensors from Canon. Powered by DIGIC 8 image processors, this lightweight camera can shoot up to 20fps bursts on high shooting mode. The camera also has an electronic shutter speed that can do up to 1/25, 600s in various modes.
At the front of the camera is an impressive 24-100mm f/1.8-2.8 lens that also comes with optical image stabilisation. With a maximum ISO of 12,800 along with a very low aperture, this camera will do well in low-light environments. And, if you are a fan of the previous model’s Star Mode, then it will be great to know that they have made massive improvements on that.
On the back of the camera is a 3 inch 1.04 million dots touch panel tilt type LCD. Which is very useful, especially as this camera is being branded as the “next generation vlogging camera.” Which brings us to something which the G7X Mark III really shines at; Video recording.
Able to capture 4k UHD videos at 30p and with HDR movie capture, the G7X Mark III is a massive improvement over the previous generation’s maximum resolution of 1080p. Users can record full 4k videos for under 10 minutes and about 30 minutes for 1080p at 120fps. Another nifty option that Canon has added to this camera is the ability to grab 4k stills from frames. It also has an external mic jack, but unfortunately still no headphone jack in this model.
Canon has really thought of video creators with their new camera. Users have the option to go into “Selfie-mode” and use a button on the LCD to record videos or take photos. This makes it easier to achieve better selfies and group shots.
Connectivity-wise, this camera gets high marks. The G7X Mark III can be controlled through a smartphone via Bluetooth. Users can also connect via Wi-fi to instantly upload videos to YouTube and stream videos on YouTube Live.
The camera connects and charges through a USB Type C cable and has a Type D Micro HDMI port. The camera also packs an NB-13L lithium battery that can deliver 265 shots per charge.
The G7X III best price is at $988 and it's available at Camera Warehouse. Make sure you pre-order to get your hands on this hot ticket item as it hit the shelves in Australia by mid to late August 2019.
