Canon SLR price drops

Effective immediately, selected Canon digital SLR cameras have dropped in price:
- Canon 1000D now from $699
- Canon 450D now from $899
- Canon 40D now from $1079
There are also a number of new kits for the 450D including a value twin kit (EF 18-55mm IS + 75-300mm) and the premium kit, which includes Canon's new 18-200mm IS (image stabilised) lens.
