It also performs well under low-light settings due to its f/4 maximum aperture. Constructed with 12 lens elements in 10 groups, it features five aspherical lens elements and One Extra-Low Dispersion Glass that help reduce spherical and chromatic aberration. Meanwhile, you can take advantage of the 0.2x maximum magnification ratio and 0.4m minimum focusing distance to zoom in closer to the subject. The Sony Zeiss FE 24-70mm is also equipped with Carl Zeiss T* Anti-Reflective Coating to do away with unwanted reflections caused by excess light and Optical Steadyshot Image Stabilization to negate potential image blur due to camera shake.
