The Sony E-Mount Zeiss Vario-Tessar T* 16-70mm f/4 ZA OSS Lens is an APS-C format lens with a 35mm field of view equivalent of 24-105mm. It also performs well under low-light settings due to its f/4 fixed maximum aperture. Constructed with 16 lens elements in 12 groups, it features four aspherical lens elements and a Super Extra Low Dispersion Glass that help reduce spherical and chromatic aberration. Meanwhile, you can take advantage of the 0.23x maximum magnification ratio and 0.35m minimum focusing distance to zoom in closer to the subject. The Sony 16-70mm is also equipped with Carl Zeiss T* Anti-Reflective Coating to do away with unwanted light and Optical Steadyshot Image Stabilization to negate potential image blur due to camera shake. Amazing bokeh effects can also be achieved through the seven-blade circular diaphragm.
