Sony VG-C4EM Battery Grip for A7R IV

Especially designed for Sony Alpha a7R mirrorless cameras, the VG-C4EM Vertical Grip gives its photographers extended battery and better grip when taking shots in vertical orientation. It will accept single or two NP-FZ100 batteries. This increases the effective battery life, giving users longer shooting sessions.  

The batteries are chargeable while still attached to the camera body using the USB port. The grip is designed to have the same layout as the camera's body. It also includes a secondary shutter button plus a Multi Selector. The grip is made out of magnesium alloy and is dust and moisture resistant to match the camera itself. 

Sony VG-C4EM Battery Grip is also compatible with Sony a1, a7 IV, a7R IV, a7S III, and a9 II mirrorless cameras

Ease of Operation During Vertical Orientation
Sony's VG-C4EM provides operational controls that are similar to those of the camera's body. Everything from the size, shape, and location of the buttons are optimized, having the same material used on the a7R IV body. Because of this, the location, function and the controls' operational feel simulate those on the cam's body even when it is held vertically.

Secure and Firm Grip
The grip's clever design allows you to hold the camera firmly. The Vertical Grip lets shooters take shots with fun and ease, regardless if it is held vertically or horizontally. This makes it a lot easier to focus on your subject and composition.

Longer Operating Duration
The VG-CEM is capable of holding one or two NP-FZ100 batteries. When both batteries are used, the cam will operate for twice as long compared to using just one battery. Your remaining battery power can be seen on the LCD screen, having 1% increments. When one battery is drained, the camera automatically switches to the second battery. This allows users continuous operation.

Light But Solid Magnesium Alloy Body
The VG-C4EM exterior is made of the same magnesium alloy that can be found in the a7R IV body. This gives it the same rigidity as the camera itself while keeping the overall weight and bulk to the minimum. 

USB Charging
You can charge the batteries in the vertical grip using the camera's USP port without having to detach the grip from the camera. If users need extended shooting sessions, you can get extra power directly to the camera via the cam's USB port by using an AC adapter or mobile battery to supplement the battery power.

Dust and Moisture Resistant
The camera's grip attachment is equipped with the same sealing material that can be found on the camera body in order to keep out dust and moisture. By doing this the camera system's overall reliability is improved.
