Constructed with 5 lens elements in 5 groups, it features an aspheric surface that help reduce spherical and chromatic aberration. Regardless of your preferred option, you can get clear images by either using the Internal Stepping Motor for smooth autofocus or Direct Manual Focus. Meanwhile, the 0.078x maximum magnification ratio and 0.24m minimum focusing distance to zoom in closer to the subject. Amazing bokeh effects can also be achieved through the seven-blade circular diaphragm. Compatible with Sony Alpha NEX Digital Cameras, the Sony E-Mount 16mm f/2.8 Wide Angle Lens has a 49mm filter diameter.
