360° Photography and videography is the latest fascinating step in the digital media evolution. One of these evolutions is the upgraded Ricoh Theta Z1 360° Camera (51GB). The advancement and innovation of new technology always have its initial pitfalls. Where focus originally starts on innovation the next step is to refine. With the improved stabilisation, low light performance and the inclusion of live streaming the THETA Z1 is the well refined next step!
Low light performance was one of the weak points of the previous 360° camera. The updated dual 6720 x 3360 1" Type CMOS Sensors allows for an impressively improved low light performance. The lenses of the camera feature an improved design with less ghosting, fringing, and flares. Aperture can be selected from f/2.1, f/3.5, and f/5.6. In addition to JPEG photos, this baby can capture up to 23MP JPEG/DNG Raw Photos, giving photographers greater flexibility in editing to produce higher-quality results. Other specs and features include the large 51GB of built-in storage, Twin-Lens System with 4-Channel Mics, THETA+ Android App, 6400 Max ISO, editing with Lightroom Classic CC and Plug-In, and 360-degree live streaming in 4K or 2K.

Superior Noise Reduction

Newly adopted Aperture
Using a newly developed lens unit which reduces ghosting, flare and purple fringe. Aperture mechanism is newly adopted with the selection of F2.1, F3.5 and F5.6. By closing down the aperture, clear image is achieved by deepening the depth of field.
