The Panasonic Leica DG Vario-Elmarit 50-200mm f/2.8-4 POWER O.I.S. Lens features a versatile 100-400mm (35mm Equivalent) focal length with a constant f/2.8 to f/4 aperture range, making it ideal for a wide range of photography applications, including portraiture and sports, even in low light situations. The lens also features a splash-, dust-, and freeze-proof design for use in harsh weather conditions.
A POWER Optical Image Stabilizer offers up to five stops of compensation against camera shake, as well as Dual I.S., which helps to minimize the effects of camera shake when shooting with the lens mounted on compatible Panasonic Lumix G-series mirrorless cameras with built-in stabilization systems.
The lens also incorporates two Ultra Extra-Low Dispersion elements and two Extra-Low Dispersion elements to help reduce color fringing and chromatic aberrations throughout the zoom range while contributing to greater image clarity and sharpness. Additionally, a Nano Surface Coating has been applied to individual elements to minimize surface reflections, flare, and ghosting for improved contrast and color neutrality when working in strong lighting conditions.
