Geared for professional videography, the Panasonic HC-PV100 is a full HD camcorder that can continually capture great scenes in low-light conditions thanks to its 1/3.1-inch BSI sensor. This is supported by four lens groups that is bolstered by an optical 20x zoom. Speaking of light, this Panasonic video camera has a built-in LED Video Light that can be enhanced with either a diffusion filter to soften the light's intensity or the colour conversion filter to alter the light temperature. Always find the perfect angle through the tiltable viewfinder with eyecup or via live preview through the 3" slide retractable touchscreen LCD. Should the HC-PV100 accidentally shake, images and videos are kept sharp by the blur-reducing 5-Axis Hybrid O.I.S +. Once recording has commenced, the illuminating LED ring will also turn from blue to red. Fine-tuning the video being captured is done through the three manual rings while quality audio can also be recorded and by connecting external microphones to any of the two-channel XLR terminals. High performance in low light
The HC-PV100's advanced BSI Sensor captures brilliant, high-quality images in dim lighting conditions. That means you can record beautiful scenes and objects under a variety of conditions and in any situation, including indoor scenes and nightscapes, with low noise distortion.

Let there be light
The video light is extremely bright (300 lx at 1 metre), for reliable shooting in dimly lit places. A diffusion filter softens the light source, and a colour conversion filter converts the colour temperature.

Relay Recording with Hot Swap
When the first card becomes full, the system automatically and seamlessly switches to the second card. And Hot Swap Recording lets the user exchange the card while shooting. This means that recorded cards can be exchanged one after another with blank cards for endless recording.

Simultaneous Recording
The same data is recorded onto both cards, so you don't have to worry about losing the data.

Optical 20x Zoom
By driving each of four lens groups separately, the drive ranges are reduced, resulting in high image quality and high-powered zooming, with a compact camera body.

Clear, Blurless Results
Hybrid O.I.S + uses five-axis correction to thoroughly suppress blurring caused by unwanted shake - whether you are shooting with a wide angle or at high zoom. This lets you capture crisp, clear images in virtually every shooting situation.

2-Channel XLR Audio Input Terminals
The HC-PV100 comes with 2-channel XLR audio input terminals for external mic or line recording. It also has a +48V phantom power supply. This enables the use of professional-spec, high-performance microphones for high-quality audio recording.

Slide-retractable LCD
This versatile LCD serves as a high-definition, 460K-dot monitor and menu-setting touch panel. When not in use, it slides into the front handle for extra mobility and safety. It also rotates 270 degrees vertically for easy high-angle, low-angle and self-interview shooting.

Tiltable Viewfinder
The 1,550K-dot-equivalent colour viewfinder can be tilted for added convenience. The large eyecup fits either eye comfortably.

Three Manual Rings
Professional features include a focus ring, zoom ring, and iris ring on the lens barrel. This enables speedy and intuitive camera work.

Illuminating LED Ring
The illuminating LED ring allows people to easily verify that recording is in progress, for smoother shooting. The user can turn the illumination on or off.

Magnesium Handle
