The OM System M.Zuiko ED 20mm f/1.4 Pro Lens is a versatile 20mm Fixed Focal Length with 40mm equivalent for Micro Four Thirds mirrorless cameras. An ideal lens for shooting landscapes, nature, or travel photography. This lens is the ultimate all-in-one compact wide-angle prime lens for both far telephoto and wide-angle photography requirements. Image capturing in low lit situations is made possible by f/1.4 to f/16 Aperture Range in addition to Two aspherical elements, three ED elements, one super ED element, and two Super HR elements to reduce spherical aberrations and distortions and optimize light transmission for sharpness and accurate color rendering. The autofocus system which is Movie and Still Compatible (MSC) autofocus system provides precise, fast, and quiet focus performance. Besides the optical construction, this lens also features ZERO (Zuiko Extra-Low Reflection Optical) coating provides reduced lens flare and optimal color transmission in addition to its weather-sealed construction for use to any harsh conditions.

ZERO coating is used effectively together with optimal suppression of internal reflections within the lens barrel to reduce ghosting and flaring.

"Perfecting Bokeh" Using the know-how gained with the M.ZUIKO PRO F1.2 Series, we have achieved feathered bokeh that slowly introduces blur moving from the in-focus area to the out-of-focus region.
Beautiful feathered bokeh was achieved thanks to an ultra-high precision aberration measurement instrument incorporating high-precision measurement technologies used in advanced microscope design.
This measurement instrument was used in research stages to measure the characteristics of historically acclaimed lenses, which would become the base for newly developed ones.
In development stages, the instrument was used to create a lens design that optimizes the level of aberrations, while virtually eliminating all unwanted aberrations.
Adopting a design which intentionally guides light beams passing on the outside edges of the lens to form an image in the foreground, while gradually tilting the lens as the spherical aberration moves towards the outside edge. Intentionally keeping spherical aberrations results in beautiful feathered bokeh.
