At first glance, fans might not notice a physical difference between the Nikon Z7 and the latest version, the Z7II. However, it is really inside where to two differ, where the enhancements make the Z7II a robust mirrorless camera and a worthy upgrade.

Inside the Nikon Z7 II boasts a 45 Megapixel BSI Sensor with shutter speeds as long as 900 seconds. It also has a myriad of creative options with the camera’s Creative 20 Picture Controls. The camera’s autofocus features a 493-point phase system with all the AF points on the image sensor itself.  It also has Eye AF for both human and non-human subjects as well as a Wide AF autofocus when you need it.

Low light autofocus and performance have also been improved. The Z7 II is capable of -3EV focusing with F2.0 lens. The video recording performance has also gotten a boost with this camera, now users can record at 4k resolution/60 fps.

One complaint about the Z7 is its lack of card slots. The z7 II addresses this by adding another UHS-II SD card slot along with its CFExpress with XQD slot. Giving users plenty of space for their videos and photos.

A powerful mirrorless in Nikon’s lineup, the Z7 II is really something worth its price.

Product Features in Detail

45 Megapixel BSI Sensor with ISO 64
A camera that produces stunning images and high dynamic performance with its amazingly wide ISO range of 64-25,600This powerful device is also capable of shooting up to 900 seconds of in-camera shutter speed. So if you are a big fan of long exposure shots, then this camera is just for you!

4k Video Recording Capabilities with up to 60fps
An amazing companion for videographers, this camera is capable of shooting at 4k resolutions at over 60 fps, a big step up from its predecessor. It is also capable of recording HDR (HLG) video when using an external recorder over HDMI.

Creative 20 Picture Controls
Unleash your creativity with the Z7 II’s 20 Creative Picture Controls. This feature gives you a myriad of exposure functionality which is done via the Retouch menu with various selectable layer modes. There is also a focus shift mode along with focus stacking features.

Great Battery life
With the camera’s sheer power, it is no surprise that there is some concern about battery life. Worry not, as the Z7 II is capable of about 420 shots when using the LCD and about 360 when using the EVF. This gives users enough juice for their shoots to last a long time without having to change battery packs.

Exceptional Low Light Performance
Shooting and recording during low-light situations is something that the Nikon Z7 II handles with ease. This camera has an impressive ISO range of 64-25,600 while having an AF sensitivity of up to an exceptional -3 EV.

Amazing Power and Speed
This camera boasts the latest EXPEED 6 image processor which gives significant performance improvements from its predecessor. The second extra processor allows an additional frame per second of continuous speed which gives it up to 10fps. Plus, all this processing power allows the camera further time reduction when it comes to displaying captured images.

Great Storage Options
The people of Nikon have heard users cry for more space! That is why this camera is outfitted with a second another UHS-II SD card slot along with its CFExpress with XQD slot. This is really a much-needed feature, given the relative size of captured images and videos.

Perfect for All-Around Shooting
Not much needs to be said about the Nikon Z7 II other than it’s great for all-around shooting. It’s amazing 45 Megapixel sensor ensures the clearest and sharpest photos around while its impressive low-light handling makes it perfect for indoor events and shoots. Fantastic autofocus technology (Eye AF) makes this perfect for sports and wildlife shooting scenarios. With an extended weather-sealed body, great battery life, and better storage options, this camera can handle any situation you throw at it.
