The AF-S NIKKOR 50mm f/1.4G is a high-performance single-focal-length of 50mm with a large maximum aperture of f/1.4 especially suitable for professional and advanced amateurs who use Nikon FX-format cameras such as the D3 and D700. The lens’ Silent Wave Motor (SWM) ensures quick, quiet autofocus. Autofocus shooting is made possible with SLR models that do not have a built-in motor, such as the D40 series and D60. Focus mode is available via M/A (manual-priority autofocus) and M (manual focus). Nine-blade rounded diaphragm gives the images a natural blur effect. This lens incorporates Nikon Super Integrated Coating (SIC) to enhance light transmission efficiency and delivers superior color consistency and reduced flare while the rounded 9-blade diaphragm renders more natural appearance of out-of-focus image elements. It is compatible with APS-C and Full Frame Sensor DSLR Cameras.
