Made of two aspherical lens elements to reduce lens aberrations and equipped with Vibration Reduction, it has a f/3.5-5.6 maximum aperture and a f/22-38 minimum aperture. This lens is made from 12 elements in 9 groups. Meanwhile, its fully automatic diaphragm has seven rounded blade openings that help provide amazing out-of-focus bokeh effects.

Capable of Manual and Auto focus, this Nikkor lens has a distance indicator to correspond with its focal length scale of 18, 24, 35, 45, and 55 mm. This gives you better control over image framing with the help of the independent zoom ring.
Vibration reduction
This mechanism offers a camera shake compensation equivalent to a four-stop increase in shutter speed. This results to sharper images even with long lenses.
