When the camera shakes while taking a shot, its Vibration Reduction prevents blurry images or video. This Nikon DSLR lens is also equipped with a Stepping Motor Autofocus for quiet AF. Image ghosting and flaring is also reduced by the integrated coating. Since this is an F-mount lens, it gives access to lens settings in the camera menu. Quick switch to Manual to Auto and vice versa
Select NIKKOR lenses have a focusing mode which allows switching from automatic to manual focusing with virtually no lag time by simply turning the focusing ring on the lens. This makes it possible to seamlessly switch to fine manual focusing while looking through the viewfinder.

Control in the camera
With the lens' switches removed in the barrel, accidental changes in settings are avoided. However, you can access its settings on the camera menu.
