We have found that it can be easy to find out the difference in cameras regarding their photo and video capability to make sure it’s right for your needs, however, even our own staff get a little stuck when it comes to choosing the right storage card to match your camera. We also frequently see people with cards that don’t match the camera, not adequate for what the camera is capable of or even spending too much to buy a card that is not required for a particular camera.
We’ll start with the most common conversation we have:
SD and MicroSD
The MicroSD (right) standard was first introduced back in 2005. They had a much smaller physical size than their SD card counterparts, which is a natural advantage when fitting inside smaller devices. While most MicroSD cards do come with an adapter to convert them into standard sized SD cards, it is more designed so they will go into a more common SD card reader, rather than be constantly used in a device. Since MicroSD cards don't lock inside

Tripod DesignsEvery photographer from the cell phone snapper to the elite nature documentary knows that a wavering hand or heavy gust of wind can ruin an otherwise perfect shot. To accommodate these unforeseen forces, photographers began to adapt the artist's easel to hold a camera in place rather than a painting canvas. However, it goes further than simply being a stick to hold your camera though. Much like the majority of camera accessories, there are general and niche options available on the market today. So how do you decide which style tripod to get?
The Different Tripod Options
The world of photography has never been more accessible than it is today, with phone cameras capturing pictures with quality never imaginable for such a small device or extremely affordable high-quality mirrorless or DSLR's. This has led to more and more new photographers hitting the scene and sharing their favourite moments with the world. No one wants those moments to be blurry or fuzzy, ruining the shot -

Give Your Camera the Support It Needs
Even the highest quality camera using the newest technology can't digitally compensate for every movement made by a swaying arm or natural handshake. This is where tripods and tripod heads come into play. What was once just a stable appendage for your equipment to sit on has now evolved to give many options to your exact style of movement and orientation needed to get the shot.
Types of Tripod Heads
With the improvements in camera quality, the possibilities of what could be captured facilitated the need to stabilize shots in all environments. Depending on your needs, each tripod head has something to offer. To find the best one though, we'll need to dive into each option and how they operate.
Ball Heads
Definitely sitting at the throne of "most popular" tripod heads, ball heads utilize a machined bearing with a camera mount attached to them. This allows for full rotation as it does away with extra arms and axis-based construction that can hinder

New from Panasonic Lumix
We have woken up to a new day of hope in the Micro Four Thirds community. Panasonic has made three big announcements that can finally put an end to years-long debates about where they are heading, is Micro Four Thirds dead and do I upgrade to full-frame.Let's start with the most exciting one.
The GH6!
This is the most ominous camera we have here.
There is certainly more to come on this, so please stay tuned.
But more than anything, this camera puts an entire blanket of relief over any Micro Four Thirds user who hasn't seen a significant upgrade in years. There is a tendency to have a camera for a limited number of years while building up your skills with that equipment. You can buy new lenses to satisfy your urge to buy another camera, but there will get to a point where everyone wants something new from their camera body. Panasonic most likely lost a lot of people who grew impatient and moved to full-frame, but those who have stuck it out this long, well -
