There must have been countless enthusiasts who asked the photography gods if it is possible to use their full-frame lens into a mirrorless camera body. Now, this is possible with the creation of the Metabones Speed Boosters. These lens adapters fit well onto the lenses and guarantee an increase in angle of view and MTF.

The invention of mirrorless cameras completed the equation. From there, optical engineer Brian Caldwell and opto-mechanic Wilfried Bittner collaborated to blend all these concepts into one item. With more than 60 years of combined experience in optics and photography,

The Fujifilm X-T1 is a compact system camera that delivers brilliant photographic performance, however, it was criticized for its Autofocus system, which was not up to mark when it came to shooting moving objects. To resolve this issue, and to further enhance the focusing performance of the X-T1, Fujifilm has come with an upgrade to the existing firmware.
Reinvented Auto Focus System – Much Better than your ExpectationsThe firmware version 4.00 brings a whole new AF system to the camera that improves its performance by a significant margin. Two new modes, Zone and Wide/Tracking, have been added to the system that will allow you to capture moving objects with perfection.
The Zone mode displays a 77-point auto focus area, from which, you can select a 3x3, 3x5 or 5x5 zone. Combining this mode with the AF-C mode makes the camera continuously track a moving object in the selected zone.
When switched to Wide/Tracking mode, the camera automatically focuses on a subject in the 77-point Auto

Sigma seems to be relentless with lens announcments lately. The latest addition to their high end ART series family is the 24-35mm DG HSM but wait for it....it has constant wide F2 aperture all the way through!
Being a DG lens, this new release is designed for full frame DSLR cameras but its also compatible with APS-C sensor cameras as well ,obviously cropped. We beleive its the only wide angle zoom lens with a fixed aperture currently on the market making it suitable for a variety of application, Travel, Landscape, Wedding and Events, Portrait and familiy just to name a few. Also Sigma are suggesting that it performs like 3 primes lenses into 1; 24mm, 28mm and 35mm. It will be available in Canon EF mount, Nikon and Sigma mount as well. Apart from that the filter thread size is 82mm and has minumum focusing distance of 28cm. If the 50mm, 24mm or 35mm ART lenses were of any token, then we are pretty sure that this is going to be another very popular lens!
