UPDATE:
We have received some stock of the K10D, and some have shipped to customers already. Unfortunately, we received a small fraction of the total stock we'd requested, so we have not been able to fulfill all orders. We've been informed that the next delivery will arrive in approximately 2 weeks. More information as we receive it.Original message:
Well, I guess it had to happen eventually, although it's not actually that bad...we've been informed that the K10D ETA has been pushed back by just 1 week. We're now expecting delivery within the last couple of days of November, but also expect to receive our full allocation and will therefore be able to fulfill all backorders. If you've not placed your order yet, there may be some spares (particularly as we may get cancellations with the above news), so please place your K10D order now.

We've just received confirmation that our stock of the amazing Sony Alpha 100 twin lens kit has left the warehouse and will be with us today (25/10). We're not sure whether we'll get any more stock before Christmas (crazy, I know!), so if you're interested, please order soon to avoid disappointment.
The twin lens kit includes 18-70mm/F3.5-5.6 and 75-300mm/F4.5-5.6 zoom Sony lenses for a great range of photographic applications. To celebrate their arrival, we've dropped the price to just $1799 ($150 discount on previous price).
The Sony Alpha 100 is also available as body only, and in a single lens kit (18-70mm) and includes in-built image stabilisation and dust protection as standard. This is Sony's first product in the competitive digital SLR market, but it's already making waves against the market leading Canon EOS 400D and Nikon D80.

Regular visitors to our website will know that, whilst we've been very quiet on the newsletter front, we have been continually updating our on-site news, products, special offers and more.
The most recent upgrade to our site is directly related to the newsletter, and we're hoping that you'll find this much easier and more useful than the sporadic emails we put together when we get time. Do you recognise this

If you already know about RSS, click the icon above to subscribe. Otherwise, please read on. There are arguments about the official meaning of the RSS acronym, but one of the more commonly accepted versions is 'Really Simple Syndication'. We're not surprisingly seeing an unprecedented level of interest in the new Nikon D80 digital SLR, which includes significant enhancements over its predecessor, the D70s.
We're still waiting for our stock of the body only and 18-135mm lens kit to arrive, which we're hoping will be within the next week. However, we expect that any stock that we receive will be sold before it arrives and so strongly recommend placing a pre-order as soon as possible to take your place in the queue.
With pre-orders, we don't charge your credit card until the goods ship, neither do we take a deposit whilst you wait, and you're free to cancel at any time before the goods ship without penalty. In the meantime, you can continue to look around in the knowledge that you're patiently waiting in the queue at ours.
Pre-order your Nikon D80 body only or 18-135mm lens kit from Camera-Warehouse now.

We're less than two weeks away from the TMFKAN (the month formerly known as November). What am I talking about? MOvember. The annual event to raise awareness of (and money for) prostate cancer research.
The official word:
"At the start of Movember guys register with a clean shaven face. The Movember participants known as Mo Bros then have the remainder of the month to grow and groom their moustache and along the way raise as much money and awareness about male health issues as possible. Movember culminates at the end of the month at the gala parties. These glamorous and groomed events will see Tom Selleck and David Boon look-a-likes battle it out on the catwalk for their chance to take home the prestigious Man of Movember title."
This year, Royalexpress (our photo printing business) will be donating 1c for every print processed during Movember to the cause, in sponsorship for the Royalexpress Mo Bros, and we'll be posting 'Mo o' the day' pictures in store and online. You'll

The new Olympus mju 725 has replaced the mju 720 (aka the 'dog camera').
The cameras, available in blue and silver, are almost identical in all respects except that the new mju 725 is rated up to 5m underwater. This means you can use the camera without a [sometimes] expensive underwater housing for most snorkelling trips. This seal is also invaluable when beaches and/or young children are involved in your photographic activities.
Stock is due today or tomorrow, but we're seeing a huge amount of interest, so place your pre-order now to avoid disappointment!

We've created a RSS (Really Simple Syndication) feed for all our news articles, so you can stay up-to-date with everything that's going on without having to come to the site to do so.
To use the RSS feed you'll need an RSS reader. Internet Explorer 7 (in beta at the time of writing) includes one, albeit very basic, but you can otherwise download a free RSS reader from sources such as Google*, NewsGator, BlogSpace and more.
For more information on RSS, I found this BBC article on the subject very handy.
