The lightest tripod among the Manfrotto range is now here in the presence of the Compact Light. It is the natural connection between the mini and full size tripod. This tripod is particularly designed for compact system cameras and because it just weighs 0.81 kg, it is made to be with you wherever you go. The built-in ball head and the single adjustment knob are partnered with a sturdy aluminum built 4 section legs rigid enough to withstand a payload capacity of 1.5 kg. Extending the tripod to its maximum height of 131 cm or set it to a minimum height of 39.1 cm will give you enough elevation to capture every second of your photography. Compact Light can be folded to a length of 39.8 cm when not in use. The tripod comes with a padded bag when purchased.

Universal ¼” camera attachment
With the universal ¼” camera attachment and the new quick wheel you can attach and detach your camera in seconds. The built-in ball head and the single adjustment knob are perfect for quick positioning of the camera and for easy locking all movements. 

Great portability
This head has been specifically designed to minimise dimensions and maximise portability. A unique mechanism allows the levers to be folded when the head is not in use, making the tripod easier and more convenient to carry. 

Compatibility
The Compact Light is ideal for Compact System Cameras but thanks to the universal ¼” screw thread and the easy attachment it can be used with a huge variety of digital devices up to 1.5kg/3.3lbs such as the iPhone® (with KLYP+), all types of Compact Cameras and Bridges. If using an entry level DSLRs with the Compact Light we recommend using only standard kit lenses to maintain the same level of performance that you will experience with lighter cameras. Please consider that a lot of semi-professional and professional equipment exceeds these requirements. 
If you own a Sony Nex 5R/5T you have certainly noticed that these particular models have a very small surface area around the mounting thread. For this reason, in each Compact Light box, you will find a special adaptor that will increase the surface area of these specific cameras in order to better grip the tripod and obtain maximum stability.
