Canon RF 24mm f/1.8 Macro IS STM Lens

The Canon RF 24mm f/1.8 Macro IS STM Lens is a wide-angle prime lens for Canon's full-frame mirrorless EOS R system. The fast f/1.8 maximum aperture benefits working in low-light conditions and also provides increased control over depth of field for shallow depth of field photography.

The lens' STM stepping motor provides smooth, near silent focusing performance that is particularly well suited to video recording applications. This AF motor can be manually overridden at any time by simply rotating the focus ring.

The optical design includes one UD element, one aspherical element, and Super Spectra coatings to help suppress flare and ghosting for improved contrast and clarity when working in strong lighting conditions. An optical image stabilizer helps minimize the appearance of camera shake for sharper handheld shooting in low-light conditions or at longer focal lengths.
