Canon DM-E1 Directional External Microphone

Compatible with Canon EOS Digital Cameras, the Canon DM-E1 Directional External Microphone features shock mount construction and a built-in power supply. Its audio recording capability can be maximized through shotgun and stereo directional controls. With a frequency response of 50 Hz to 16 kHz, limiting unnecessary outdoor noise is made possible by the included wind screen.

Audio recording flexibility
With DM-E1 is capable of picking up audio in three ways. First, the shotgun mode picks up the sound in a narrow band in front of the camera. This set-up is ideal for dialogues and musical recording. You can also choose between the 90° stereo mode for everyday recording and the 120° stereo mode for large-area events like backyard weddings and choir performances.

Compatibility
This external microphone works with Canon EOS Digital Cameras with a movie mode and an external mic jack.

Power is not a problem
This directional microphone has a single CR2032 button-type battery that can be controlled through the on-off switch. Aside from the saving the battery life itself, it can also conserve the camera's power.

Record from bass to treble
With a frequency range from 50 Hz to 16 kHz, a vast array of sounds from the low notes to the high ones can be recorded with ease. 

Shock mount construction
