The Sony HDR-CX625 Full HD Camcorder features a 26.8 mm Wide-Angle G Lens with 30x Optical Zoom that offers to provide a full HD Video at 60fps and 2.29 Megapixels Stills. BIONZ X™ Image Processor helps achieve more naturally vivid and lifelike image quality and the 1/5.8 type (3.1mm) Back-Illuminated Exmor R™ CMOS Sensor enhances the image clarity while reducing noise in dark environments. Balanced Optical SteadyShot™ with 5-axis Intelligent Active mode stabilizes every shot by suppressing unwanted camera shake during shoots. Fast Intelligent AF features an accurate contrast-detection autofocus by minimising lens motion. This camcorder is capable of Dual Video Recording and stores an output XAVC S, AVCHD format and MP4 format which can be shown and reviewed thru its 7.5 cm (3.0 type) Clear Photo LCD Display. The CX625 is also capable of Time-lapse Capture.

Progressive Recording
Clear movies, that contain twice the image data of movies recorded in interlace mode, can be recorded in Full HD at 60p/50p (NTSC/PAL) in progressive recording mode. The images are as smooth as those shot at 60p/50p (NTSC/PAL) frames per second, and each frame is recorded as one full picture. So a still captured from a movie recorded in progressive mode looks extra-sharp.
