The A-Mount 50mm f/1.8 DT Alpha Standard Prime Camera Lens from Sony is designed for cropped APS-C sized DT-mount cameras or DT Alpha and Minolta DSLRs, it is a short telephoto lens with f/1.8-22 Aperture Range and 50mm Focal Length which has a 35mm equivalent of a 75mm focal length. Seven circular aperture blades provide excellent out of focus and bokeh background effects as well as faster shutter speeds for low-light shooting. Extra-Low Dispersion (ED) Glass reduces chromatic aberrations and the extra-low dispersion glass corrects specific wavelengths of light to give true color and sharper images. Smooth Autofocus Motor (SAM) is designed for fast, smooth and silent automatic focusing.
