Providing a 16 MP 1/2.3-in. Type CMOS Sensor, the Nikon Coolpix B600 offers a hefty imaging experience with high-power zoom and superb optical performance covering a wide range of scenes. You can even capture a dynamic clarity with 120x fine zoom and 60x Optical Zoom via ISO of 6400. The optics were made with NIKKOR ED Glass Lens for superb imaging and exquisite low-light shooting with ease. This camera integrates a 3" vari-angle LCD monitor to easily view and preview previous shots and Full HD 1080p videos. Sharing is made possible through the Built-in Wi-Fi, NFC and Bluetooth features.

60× Optical Zoom and 120× Dynamic Fine Zoom in a Compact Body
The COOLPIX B600’s 60× optical zoom takes you from wide-angle 24 mm(*1) to super-telephoto 1440 mm(*1), with the option of going all the way to approx. 2880 mm(*1) using 120×(*2) Dynamic Fine Zoom — letting you capture everything from vast landscapes to close-ups of distant subjects. What’s more, in macro mode it can focus on subjects as close as approx. 1 cm/0.4 in. from the lens.

Capture Sharp and Beautiful Stills and Movies
With its 16.0 effective megapixels, backside illumination CMOS sensor, advanced EXPEED image-processing engine and high-performance NIKKOR lens, the COOLPIX B600 handles even low-light shooting with ease, reproducing fine details and achieving excellent contrast. Lens shift VR with an effect equivalent to a shutter speed 3.0 stops* faster helps you take sharp, crisp images at any zoom range. In movie recording, 4-Axis Hybrid VR (lens shift VR + electronic VR) ensures a stable image even if you’re constantly moving around with the camera. Whether in dark scenes or super-telephoto shooting, you can expect high-quality stills and movies with minimized camera shake.

Creativity is built in, but you can still take the credit
The COOLPIX B600 is equipped with 19 scene modes, with which the user simply selects a mode according to the scene and the camera automatically optimizes settings to suit it. The Multiple Exposure Lighten function, one of the scene modes, is an effective way of capturing light trails such as the flow of car lights or motion of stars, comparing multiple images taken with interval timer photography and automatically compositing the brightest parts. With Smart portrait mode, you can enhance human faces by applying effects such as Skin softening and Foundation makeup. Creative mode allows you to make images just the way you want. By selecting from 9 effects, the camera saves four variations of your chosen effect and one image without effect simultaneously in one shot, offering different combinations of options such as appropriate aperture, contrast and color reproduction.

Superior operability as a high-power-zoom camera
While achieving a lightweight and compact body that is easy to carry, the COOLPIX B600 keeps you in charge as your subject or situation changes. Its 10-position Mode dial offers instant access to the shooting mode you want. The Snap-back zoom button makes framing easier when shooting fast-moving subjects through the viewfinder or during super-telephoto shooting, by temporarily expanding the angle of view if a subject is lost. And Side zoom control lets you control the zoom while holding the lens barrel securely, to prevent unnecessary camera shake.

Your photos are on your smartphone before you know it
SnapBridge eliminates the barrier between your camera and smart device, using Bluetooth® and a dedicated app(*1). By maintaining a constant connection between the two devices, it allows pictures to be transferred automatically from your camera while you shoot. It also offers free, unlimited uploads of thumbnails to the NIKON IMAGE SPACE cloud service(*2), and can embed location, date/time and credit information (i.e. copyright, comments, text and stamps) in your images. Wi-Fi® support further expands wireless connectivity, letting you take a self-portrait from a distance or include yourself in group shots using camera remote control, then wirelessly share your images right away.
