The lightweight and compact EF 50mm f/2.5 Macro Camera Lens is used ideally for standard focal length shooting with 0.5x Maximum Magnification Macro Focus. It offers f/2.5-32 Aperture Range for low lit shooting and a floating optical system that enables sharp delineation at all focusing distance up to a minimum of 9.1”. This lens also features Distance and Depth of Field Scales, 6-Blade Circular Diaphragm, and an Optional Converter for 1:1 Macro.

Multi purpose macro
Lightweight and compact macro lens for close-ups up to 0.5x (half life size). The optical system uses a floating construction for performance at all focusing distances. With a large f/2.5 aperture, beautiful background blur is possible. This multi-purpose lens is ideal for portraiture and other applications besides macro photography.
