Atomos CONNECT Network, Wireless & SDI Expansion for NINJA V/V+

The Atomos Connect is a versatile device designed for use with the Ninja V and Ninja V+ recording monitors. The Connect features a 12G-SDI input, allowing you to connect high-resolution cameras and other video sources to your Ninja V or Ninja V+ monitor. With the Atomos Sync Wireless Timecode feature, you can wirelessly sync timecode across multiple devices, ensuring accurate and synchronized recording.

The Connect also supports SDI input to HDMI output conversion, enabling you to connect SDI devices to HDMI displays or recorders. It offers connectivity options such as Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth LE, and Ethernet, providing flexibility in connecting and controlling your devices. You can control the Connect using the AtomRemote app via Bluetooth, allowing for convenient management and configuration of the device. Using AirGlu™, you can synchronize cameras, audio recorders, and applications wirelessly, ensuring accurate timing across your setup.

The Connect allows you to share media directly from your Ninja V or Ninja V+ to Camera to Cloud and Atomos Edit, streamlining your workflow. With the Connect, you can stream your content to popular platforms such as Facebook, Twitch, YouTube, and custom RTMP/S services, expanding your audience reach. The Connect is equipped with an L-Series battery slot, ensuring uninterrupted power supply for extended shoots in the field. It can be securely mounted on the Ninja V or Ninja V+ recording monitor using two screws, providing convenient integration and setup.

Atomos Connect shares your creative vision with your team worldwide and upgrades your Ninja’s I/O with 12G-SDI to HDMI cross-conversion, Wi-Fi 6 (6E for Ninja Ultra) and 1GbE Ethernet, wireless NDI networking and timecode synchronization.

More camera choice
Atomos Connect includes a 12G SDI interface for a wide range of professional SDI-equipped cameras, adding to the already huge range of HDMI-supported by the Ninja and Ninja Ultra. The SDI input can also cross convert a signal to the HDMI output, for additional workflow options.

Wireless Timecode
Atomos AirGlu™, built into Connect, adds wireless timecode, sync, and control technology to your Ninja and Ninja Ultra. AirGlu lets you sync multiple Atomos devices or compatible cameras, audio recorders, and software applications wirelessly and accurately to the same timecode.
It’s also able to relay recording, battery status, and disk capacity information to the server unit. Any AirGlu device can act as a server, which means you’ll no longer need a huge budget or time-consuming post-production workflows to produce perfectly synchronized, multi-camera video.

The AtomRemote App for IOS and macOS is a control panel for Atomos Connect. It gives you touchscreen control over configuration and operations as far as 15 meters away from Connect via Bluetooth LE. You can also select inputs, Gamma/EOTF and adjust Gamut settings.
For monitoring, AtomRemote can be used to control playback, choose monitoring modes, apply custom 3D LUTs, or view image analysis tools including exposure and focus. Output controls include options to convert from 4K to HD, LUT preview, and HDR output.
