The Master Lens Hood - Sony ALC-SH115 (for E-mount 55-210) is designed to reduce lens flare and improve image quality by blocking stray light from entering the lens. It attaches to the front of the lens using a bayonet mount.

The Master Lens Hood - Sony ALC-SH115 (for E-mount 55-210) using a lens hood prevents light from hitting the front lens element from the sides, thereby reducing contrast and creating flare. Pictures taken with a lens hood will generally have richer colors and deeper saturation. Lens hoods also add additional protection for your lens. Master replacement lens hoods are super high quality with excellent fit and finish.
