The SMC PENTAX-DA 14mm F2.8 ED (IF) is designed to be used with PENTAX digital SLR cameras. It features an internal focus system to make focusing faster and smoother. It also includes a high-refraction extra low dispersion (ED) glass element to create a high-resolution, high-contrast image with true-to-life colour rendition. Like any other PENTAX lenses, this is also treated with the SMC coating for sharp definition, maximum light transmission, and high contrast images. This lens has an aperture of f/2.8 which makes you capture images in any low light situation. The focal length of 14mm is equivalent to 21mm in the 35mm format. Instant switching from autofocus to manual operation was made possible by Quick-Shift Focus System. It is compatible only with APS-C DSLR Cameras.
