Also, this lens has optimized DX lens design that is compatible with every Nikon D series digital SLR cameras. The compact 3.8x zoom can cover a shot from portrait to wide view. Exclusive Silent Wave Motor (SWM) performs in high-speed so auto-focusing is accurate and in super-quiet operation. The lens consists of 3 Nikon Extra-low Dispersion (ED) glass elements plus an aspheric element for low distortion and minimized chromatic aberration. Its Internal Focusing (IF) is present for great balance and smoother operation. With M/A mode, instant switching from autofocus to manual is effortless for ambient exposure control and enhanced flash.
