Manfrotto Unveils 190go! M-Series Tripods
Manfrotto has launched its 190go! M-Series Tripods. Geared for the travelling photographer, these tripods carry the patented durability of Manfrotto tripods but for fraction of the weight. This is perfect for those who often travel because these tripods are easy to carry and transport anywhere.
The Manfrotto 190go! M-Series Tripods come in two types based on composition: Carbon and Aluminium. Made in Italy, all of these professional tripods embody cutting-edge technology and impressive design to provide an ultimate user experience.
Manfrotto 190go! Carbon M-Series Features
The Manfrotto 190go! Carbon M-Series tripods provides a solid base for cameras thanks to its new Carbon Fibre tubing. Though lightweight, these legs provide a stable base for comfortable shooting. They can also be set to four independent leg-angle positions that give versatile photography perspectives at the right tripod height and without altering the focused frame.
Just like previous Manfrotto 190 tripods, the Carbon M-Series also has an Easy Link attachment on its top casing to convert the tripod handle other accessories such as LED lights or reflectors. Thus, you need not carry an extra light stand which can be heavy and bulky at times.
When done using the tripod, just release the M-Locks to bring it back to its collapsed position. A fast-locking mechanism that allows the tripod to be quickly set up, the M-lock system can be tightened or released in a 90-degree rotation movement. Once they are in place, these locks allow precise movements and dependable stability even with heavier cameras. With no protruding parts, putting this tripod back to its storage sleeve is a breeze.

The 190go! Carbon M-Series are the most portable of all Manfrotto professional tripods. The Carbon tripods start with the 4-Section Tripod with Twist Locks which has a Safety Payload Weight of 7 kg. It has a minimum height of 8 cm and a maximum height of 147cm. You can also upgrade to a 4-Section Carbon Tripod with head for easier mounting and panning of cameras. You can also purchase the same tripod with an XPRO Ball Head with a Safety Payload Weight of 6.5 kg, a minimum height of 9 cm, and a maximum height of 158.5 cm. There’s also a Manfrotto 190go! Carbon M-Series with XPRO 3-Way Head which has a 6 kg Safety Payload Weight and maximum height of 160 cm.
Manfrotto 190go! Aluminium M-Series Tripods
The aluminium version of the Manfrotto 190go! Tripods work the same way as its Carbon counterparts. The only difference is that they have D-shaped aluminium tubes that improve the tripod’s stability and rigidity. Other than that, they also have the M-Lock system, the independent leg-angle positions, and the Easy Links for LED lights and other camera gear. They also have the 90-degree column mechanism that lets the centre column swing out horizontally with a touch of a finger.

Just like the Carbon ones, there’s the basic Manfrotto 190go! Aluminium tripod with Twist Locks. There is also an aluminium version with the XPRO Ball Head with a maximum height of 158.5cm and 134cm with the column centre down. This tripod also has a safety payload weight of 6.5 kg and a minimum height of just 9cm. Likewise, there’s the Aluminium tripod with XPRO 3-Way Head with a maximum height of 165cm and 139.5cm with the centre column down. Both tripods with XPRO heads have a closed height of 57cm.
