Features of the Finepix XP90 Compact Camera

The features of the Finepix XP90 Rugged Compact Camera are roughly the same with that of its predecessor, the XP80. It sports a 16.4-megapixel, 1/2.3”-inch BSI CMOS sensor and a lens with a 5x optical zoom and focal length range of 28-140 mm. It is capable of Full HD movie recording at 1920 x 1080 resolution while playback can be viewed through its three-inch TFT colour LCD monitor. High-speed continuous shooting of up to 10 fps is also possible with this camera.

The XP90 also has an Interval Shooting mode that allows the capture of multiple images of a scene at set time intervals. These still images can then be converted to video with the Time-Lapse Movie feature. You can also capture precious moments using your mobile device through the free Fujifilm Camera Remote app. Through the wireless LAN communication, you can also adjust the optical zoom and make images adjustments.

Built for tough shooting situations, the Fujifilm Finepix XP90 is waterproof of up to 15 metres and freezeproof for up to -10°C. This device is shockproof for up to 1.75 metres and dustproof as well. This device has an internal storage of 96 MB and a single SD card slot. This camera is also fused with an autofocus assist lamp, a Live View mode, and a built-in flash.

Features of the Fujifilm Fujinon XF 100-400 mm F/4.5-5.6 OIS WR Lens

With a 35 mm focal length equivalent of 152-609 mm, the Fujinon XF 100-400 mm F/4.5-5.6 OIS WR Lens is composed of 21 element in 14 groups. These include five ED lenses and a super ED lens which reduce chromatic and lens aberration. A little camera shake will not disrupt image quality as well thanks to its Five-Stop Image Stabilization. Quiet autofocus is also possible with its linear motors and close focusing of as close as five metres is also possible with the focus limiter function.

Fused with fluorine coating which makes it resistant to water and dust, the Fujifilm Fujinon XF 100-400 mm F/4.5-5.6 OIS WR Lens can also be used with a 1.4x Teleconverter to get a focal range of 140-560 mm. Phase detection autofocus is still possible even with the teleconverter. It also has a compatible lens hood that allows you to access a polarizing filter while it is still attached. Speaking of filters, this lens is ideal for filters with a 77 mm diameter.
