Exceptional Image Stabilization

The very first X-T mirrorless camera fro Fujifilm to have its own IBIS, the 5-axis 6.5 stop image stabilization is made possible by the new materials Fujifilm has used for its base part. Furthermore, the new camera architecture has improved its shutter's shock-absorbing capabilities. Combined with its groundbreaking gyro sensors, the IBIS has eight times the IBIS detection unit in other advanced Fujifilm cameras including the X-H1, one of the most advanced cameras in that series. 

Groundbreaking Ultra-Fast Focal Plane Shutter

The IBIS system works effectively with its new ultra-fast focal plane shutter. Using a high-torque, coreless DC motor, it can shoot up to 15FPS of continuous shutter shots in burst mode. Fujifilm estimates it to be their fastest shutter release with only 0.035 seconds of lag. Shutter noise is even 30 percent quieter than the previous X-T3 model. Now, you can capture stills that you never thought possible at high speeds! 

Longest Battery Life

Fujifilm has worked on providing the X-T40 with its newest NP-W235 battery that can deliver 500 frames per charge in Normal and 600 frames per charge in Economy mode. You can also use two additional batteries with the X-T4's VG-XT40 grip that can integrate with the mirrorless camera.

Combined with a powerful and economic 26.1 MP X-Trans TM CMOS 4 sensor with its groundbreaking image processing engine X-Processor 4, the battery life is truly exceptional while delivering top-level stills and videos 

The Most Advanced Color Reproduction Technology

The X-T4's "ETERNA Bleach Bypass" Film Simulation mode simulates the traditional film processing technique using silver halide films. This works great, especially for photographers and videographers that intend to work with low-saturation and greatly-sharp high contrast shots that have its own characteristic that traditional camera settings and post-processing cannot achieve easily.

Furthermore, the X-T40 has different Auto White Balance settings, which include White Priority and Ambience Priority. While "Auto" is still available, White Priority will introduce a strong yet aesthetically characteristic white tone to photographs. On the other hand, the Ambience Priority delivers a warm and scene-oriented tone.

Advanced High-Speed Video Capture

With a high-speed AF, the X-T4 can deliver Full HD video at 240p. This makes it one of the best cameras to introduce a 10x slow-motion camera effect. It's easy to switch from shooting photos to videos -- just switch the STILL/MOVIE dial and record your video on two SD cards at the same time. In addition, different features such as an F-Log View assist function helps you convert video that achieves exceptional exposure correction during video recording.

Fixed Movie Crop Magnification helps you avoid unwanted changes in your video's angle of view when you switch to another video mode. Lastly, the MIc Jack setting allows you to switch between MIC and LINE levels to accommodate better audio recording.
