The Sigma 14mm f/1.8 DG HSM Art Lens is ideal for capturing wide angles in high resolution. Its f/1.8 maximum aperture allows it to capture magnificently even in low-light settings. Meanwhile, its 14mm focal length allows you to fit more detail onto the frame. Created with 16 elements in 11 groups, the lens includes 3 F-Low Dispersion and 4 Special Low Dispersion elements that reduce chromatic aberrations and colour fringing to maintain accurate hues from the subject. Meanwhile, the 4 aspherical elements minimizes distortions and spherical aberrations to maintain image sharpness while reducing vignetting.

To maintain the neutrality of image colours, ghosting and flaring due to unwanted light sources and reflections are also minimized by the Super Multi-Layer Coating. This Sigma ART lens is powered by a Hyper Sonic Auto Focus Motor that quickly locks onto static and moving subjects alike. But if you want a finer focus, you can opt for Manual Override. Amazing bokeh effects can also be achieved via the 9-blade rounded diaphragm. Reliable for outdoor photography, this lens is made from Thermally Stable Composite material that makes it withstand harsh weather conditions. Its brass bayonet mount with rubber sealing makes it resistant to dust and moisture so that the lens remains durable and accurate in terms of its performance.

An updated Hyper Sonic Motor (HSM) provides fast and accurate autofocus while 3 Premium FLD and 4 SLD glass elements control chromatic aberration and sagittal comma flare. Building on the highly reputable Art line, the Sigma 14mm 1.8 DG HSM Art is designed to resolve the latest high megapixel DSLR sensors.  Like each and every Global Vision Lens, the Sigma 14mm 1.8 DG HSM Art is handcrafted at our single factory in Aizu, Japan and undergoes individual evaluation before leaving Sigma’s facility.

Hyper Sonic Motor
The motor works with an optimized AF algorithm to produce quick, smooth, and quiet autofocus. By a turn of the focus ring, the AF can be converted to Manual Focus mode.
