Pentax HD DA 21mm f3.2 AL Limited Lens

The Pentax HD DA 21mm f3.2 AL Limited Lens has an aperture of F3.2 - F22, a 49 mm filter (or 43mm) and an AL Aspherical element to minimize focal aberrations. These lenses have the unique visual description and a finest appearance of the much-admired PENTAX Limited Lens series. It also has state-of-the-art HD coating, Super Protect coating of the front lens element to protect the lens from finger marks and a round-shaped diaphragm, to bring even higher digital imaging performance in blend with a K-mount camera body. Compared with any other lenses, it has  32mm in 35mm film format for a quality finish and excellent optical performance. For much better focusing performance, Pentax also included a fast manual focusing in AF mode with Quick Shift focus system. It is compatible only with APS-C DSLR Cameras.

They also feature a completely round-shaped diaphragm to produce a natural, beautiful bokeh (out-of-focus) effect in the foreground and background.

All lenses are treated with HD coating,* a high-grade multi-layer lens coating that assures higher light transmittance and lower reflectance than conventional multi-layer coatings. As the result, they produce sharp, clear images free of flare and ghost images, even under such adverse lighting conditions as backlight.

Round-shaped diaphragm for beautiful out-of-focus rendition
All lenses feature a completely round-shaped diaphragm to optimize the performance of their distinctive optics. This diaphragm produces a natural, beautiful bokeh (out-of-focus) effect, while minimizing the streaking effect of point light sources.
