Utilizing Multi-Layer Diffractive Optical Element to correct aberrations, the EF 400mm f/4 DO IS USM Camera Lens also offers an Ultrasonic Autofocus Motor to drive the fast yet silent AF. The AF Stop Button and Focus Range Limiter allow you to temporarily pause autofocus if necessary. There is also a Two-Mode Image Stabilization System used to minimize camera shakes on still images (Mode 1) and when panning with moving objects (Mode 2). This lens is constructed with dustproof and moisture proof sealing with detachable, rotating tripod collar for easy handling.
