The Deity Condenser Shotgun Microphone Location Kit from Aputure combines the Deity condenser shotgun microphone with a Rycote Shockmount and a windshield. You can use this microphone to capture broadcast-quality sound for video and film production whether you’re in the studio or in the field.
The Deity microphone features a supercardioid polar pattern that provides direct recording of audio from your subject and minimises surrounding ambient sounds. It is designed to preserve the tonal balance bewteen the direct on-axis sound and the off-axis room sound thus, making it easier for you to mix your audio in post-production. It also has a low inherent self-noise (12 dB/A-weighted, 24 dB/CCIR) in the microphone’s circuitry that lets you capture natural-sounding speech and dialog.

The Rycote Shockmount with pistol provides isolation against handling and cable noise that microphones usually capture along with the recording of audio. Combined with the Aputure windshield, it offers an additional layer of protection against wind noise.
