Fantastic service. order was processed and althoughone item was out of stock I was informed within hours of the order being placed. Once the stock was in it took 2 days for it to arrive to remote central Australia. Most shipping takes as many weeks. Add to this prices comparable to grey market for genuine Canon Australia goods. Very Happy. Thank you very much.

Excellent, I was very impressed. Ordered at 11:55am (Perth time), camera and other items shipped before 2pm my time, and arrived the following morning. Prices were already great but the discount that was applied just made it even better! One problem is that the payment submit form took a LONG time to go through, minutes, which made me think it was about to time out... maybe put some more resources behind that process. Otherwise excellent, will definitely recommend to others.

The Pentax K20D was waiting for me when I came into the store. All I needed to do was tell the staff my name and what I had ordered and the items were brought out immediately. I was in and out of the store in 10 minutes. Great staff, very knowledgeable and willing to help.I will recommend to all my friends.

Bought a K20D last Saturday. Jaz was extremely helpful and went out of his way to confirm the camera specs I was interested in. Features he wasn't sure about he looked up for me and checked the Owners Manual. A breath of fresh air after some of the bullsh!t you get served up in camera stores where all they care about is making a quick sale. Well done Camera-Warehouse and well done Jaz. Two days to our wedding, needed a new Canon lens urgently as we were providing the wedding camara - CW sorted it and got us the lens despite two other shops telling us that it would be two weeks before they could get it. Our third purchase from them and will not buy camera prodcuts from anywhere else. These guys rock and the service was impeccable.

Excellent. Great service, advice and speedy delivery. Unsure whether to invest in a new SLR or a high range compact digital, the C-W stepped in with excellent email advice, and we are over the moon with their Sony Cybershot H50 recommendation. Blisteringly SLOW: very poor customer relations protocols. I ordered a Nikon lens on Monday, 9 June, 2008, with a quoted delivery time of "normally 3-4 days". Next day, I received a personal apology e-mail from [sales] advising that stock had sold out but delivery was expected 12 June and the lens would then be shipped immediately. No problem. But guess what? No lens, and no further feedback. On Wednesday 18 June I telephoned, got voicemail, left a polite but "not happy" message. Guess what? No-one phoned back. So I e-mailed [sales], seeking an explanation and a firm delivery date. Next day, I received another personal apology e-mail, from a different person, [sales], explaining that the delay was caused by Nikon Australia (which had assigned "multiple product codes for the same product"). But this had now been resolved and they expected to receive the lens on Monday 23 June. Guess what? No lens and no further feedback. On Thursday 26 June I telephoned and spoke to yet a third person, who assured me the order had indeed left the Nikon warehouse in Melbourne, and the lens should arrive and be on its way to me next day. Now it's Tuesday, 1 July. Guess what? Still no lens, and still no feedback. To summarise: a total failure by this company to keep to their own delivery dates; lots of apology but the blame put on someone else; information only forthcoming when the customer initiated it; multiple people responding with no apparent effort made to red-flag this order for close monitoring and follow-up.I see lots of positive reviews from other customers, but I will not deal with this company again.

We are reviewing our procedures to ensure that delays of this nature are conferred to our customers, but do not have systems for 'flagging' orders as suggested as this is rarely a problem. Sorry can't be as positive as some. I tried to make a purchase on line. Waited for several minutes after putting in my credit card details the all I got back was the O/S script message - VERY POOR. Your credit card deatils are the most critical part of the purchase process. A minus one rating[CW says: In an effort to improve security, we have recently implemented vulnerability scanning on the server. The tests place an intensive load on the server, which is why they are scheduled to run overnight, but a test was accidentally started during the daytime today and this caused the site to slow severely. We apologise to all customers who may have been inconvenienced by this. The problem has now been resolved. At no point would this customer's credit card or personal details have been at risk of exposure.]

Some shops/sites stand head and shoulders above the rest. This is one of those shops/sites. Honest, trustworthy and good service. Fast delivery when not delayed by importer. Camera Warehouse dealings were excellent - stock on hand, & staff went out of way to get camera shipped same day (direct bank deposit). Let down by courier company (Xmas rush?). Delivery took several days longer than expected. Hotlink in C-W email helped to keep me abreast of parcel's progress. Can't comment on product - haven't opened it all yet - just trust to Pentax quality & rave reviews of K10D. Just in time for Xmas! Will deal with C-W again, no problems.

Cannot get the ball rolling on Kodak Finace on weekends very disapointed.They should state this.

This is the second purchase I have made from CW. Unlike some on line shopping suppliers CW seem to carry or are able to access goods rappibly. Very good comunication, good price and very responsive. Went to a Digital SLR review site originally and left myself with the choice of 3 cameras (Pentax K10D, EOS400D, and Nikon D40X). I was surprised to find all 3 were available at camera warehouse with options. Ended up ordering the Nikon with dual lens kit. I was even more surprised when the order shipped that day - this sort of service is pretty rare in my experiences of online purchasing.

*****Ultimate test for this outstanding supplier**** I was already a very happy with my service(please refer to previous feedback. Unfortunately my much love and cared for G9 fell apart after only 3 weeks (front lens cover fall off while it is in the underwater housing!... hopefull it is only a one off fault from Canon - I have been using their gears for 42yrs and think they are the best - still do despite this mishap!). Rang up CW and as usual a very friendly service and they did not make me feel bad, like it could be my fault and advise me to post the camera back for their evaluation. Post the camera back from Melbourne. To my surprise and joy within 3 working days from posting it to them I got a brand new camera back without any question ask. That is customer care and service 5 stars! Well done and thank you CW.

It's been a great camera, but the point of this review is to sing praises about your after sales service, specifically a recent email informing me that new firmware was available for the camera and pointing me to the link for downloading it, instructions etc. Great camera, great price for sure, but what other discount store provides that kind of after sales service. my experience with camera warehouse was not pleasent. it's been almost four weeks and i still don't have my order. after enquiring, i got promised that it would be sent express post. when i still hadn't arrived 3 working days later i rang and discovered it hadn't been sent express... just be aware that if you order online, the dates they promise are not always true... and although i'm sure they attempt to provide good service, at times (like mine) they don't...if you want something urgently in a time frame, i couldn't recomend these guys.
[CW says: Unfortunately, there have been a couple of problems with this order that have caused this long delay. The camera ordered (an Olympus mju 790) hadn't been released at the time of order. The ETA provided at that time was as given to us by Olympus. Any information given to you is only as good as the information we're given by the manufacturer, particularly for pre-release items and, on this case, that wasn't accurate. The camera was shipped as soon as it became available.
Express Post isn't something that we offer as standard, though we are willing to take whatever steps necessary to help our customers receive the goods in whatever time-frame required. Unfortunately, the package was sent Registered Post instead, by mistake. You should have been informed about this at the time and I apologise if you weren't. However, in this case Australia Post then lost this package in transit leading to further delays.
I'd say that the shipping dates we show are 'not always accurate' rather than 'not always true'; we never intend to misinform in order to make a sale, for example, and we try to keep you as up-to-date as possible with any changes to information, although this is entirely dependent on the information we receive from our suppliers. If we have the items in stock they're shipped on an overnight service. As you can see from the other reviews on this page, we can normally deliver anywhere in Australia within 72 hours of ordering.

I fail to see why anybody should be forced to provide a land line phone number, or anything more than the e-mail address they normally use for personal message (be it yahoo or any other provider), before this company, will process an order. Apparently one's credit card and related security code are not enough. I won't deal with these people

I ordered a Canon EF 24-105mm f/4L IS USM Lens. My first online shopping experience. What can I say? Amazing!! The Stores here in Perth wanted 2-3 weeks delivery time. With Camera-warehouse I had the lens in my hand 2 days after payment at a much cheaper price. Will defiantly use them again. Highly recommended.

I ordered a Nikon D40 on the weekend, and called on Tuesday to see if the D40x was available. C-W contacted Nikon, told me when it would ship, and negotiated a good price. The camera shipped on Wednesday an arrived on Thursday, earlier than expected. Great work C-W, thank you.

Purchased a Pentax K10D that had a faulty on board flash. I was most impressed with the attitude and follow up from the staff at Camerawarehouse who replied promptly to my emails, established contact with the distributor CR Kennedy and arranged to have my camera tested and eventually replaced. Any concerns over internet purchasing from this store have gone out the window. They are a pleasure with which to do business. Thank you Paul and Jasmin.

I found you site and price great as i was helping my mum make her first online purchase for her first digital camera. I was however disappointed that we ordered the camera 18Feb and it only arrived today 2 March, after she made a phone call yesterday to chase it up.
[CW says: The shipment of this order was delayed following delays in the stock arriving from Canon. The customer was informed of this delay by email shortly after ordering. The order was despatched on the same day that stock arrived from Canon and arrived with the customer the following day.]

What a great buying experience. I have an amazing camera (Pentax K10D) and lens (Sigma 18-200mm) at a fantastic price and the service has been outstanding. The support team have just sent me an email advising of a firmware upgrade and links to Pentax to download it - a month after I bought the camera. Who else does that?

I really couldn't have hoped for better customer service than these guys. I pre-ordered a K10D, and was kept up to date regarding it's delivery date when it was delayed at the distributor. Although I pestered them for updates and with queries a few times, they were always patient, polite and very informative in their response.
I would definitely shop here again. My camera was shipped today, so hopefully I'll get it tomorrow.
