Perfect for small to medium size SLRs and video cameras. Newly redesigned, the 190XPROB makes the famous Manfrotto-patented horizontal centre column feature even easier to use. Now, by extending the column to its highest vertical position, it can be swung round to horizontal without removing the head or disassembling the column itself, so switching between framing and positioning setups is more convenient than ever.

• Flip lever leg locks make opening, positioning and closing fast and easy. The tension of the locking mechanism is user-adjustable.
• Each of the legs can be set to a different angle of spread for more flexible, versatile positioning.
• The patented PRO model has a unique design which allows the center column to be used horizontally as an extending arm, or vertically (both right-way-up and upside-down).
• When used horizontally, it can be turned through 360° around the tripod, and is useful for macro work, low angle shooting, extreme balance points and off-centre work.
• four pre-set independent leg angles give the tripod great positioning flexibility and versatility, and allow all intermediate heights from the stated minimum to maximum levels to be reached.

A unique spring feature has been added to the 804RC2 to assist in the tilt motion of the head to compensate for heavier, off-center loads. Ergonomic and newly designed handles fit comfortably in the hands, while the standard quick release plate fits snugly in the low-profile receiver. • 190XPROB + 322RC2 : 322RC2 Heavy Duty Grip Ball Head; Take the versatility of a ball head, add true ergonomic control and you get the 322RC2: a photographic head that allows you to unblock, move, position and lock your camera with one hand in one position thanks to the revolutionary design of its grip handle, which incorporates the ball lock lever and can also mount the optional 322RS shutter release accessory. A friction control wheel lets you regulate the power of the blocking mechanism to match the weight of your camera/lens. The 322RC2 is made from magnesium for lightweight performance, and is designed to keep the weight of your kit as close as possible to the tripod's centre of gravity by way of its reduced height. It is this fact, matched with the precision construction of the 322RC2 that gives the head its load capacity of 5kg. The 200PL quick release plate assembly can be removed and positioned for left-handed use or on the top of the grip in a vertical position like the 'traditional' 222 design, but when used in this position, max load reverts to 2.5kg capacity. Review : I have the 190X ProB with the 222 joystick ball head. My initial impression was that the tripod was too light to be sturdy with my Nikon D200 sat on top. Fortunately, despite my accidental attempts to knock the whole kit over, the tripod remains solid. Great tripod and excellent head.

The 190XB is built on the same foundation as the XPROB, but without the horizontal centre column, making it slightly lighter and more compact.
