The RS-80N3 is a remote switch with an 80cm (2.6ft) cord to prevent camera shake during shutter release, and is therefore particularly useful for super telephoto shots, macrophotography, and bulb exposures.

The RS-80N3 remote switch works just like a shutter button, enabling halfway or complete pressing. It also has a shutter-release lock. Its quick-lock plug connects to the new N-3 type remote control socket.
